1. Acceptance and capacity
By accessing Ichhar or creating an account, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not have the required age or legal capacity, a legal representative's permission and supervision are required. Do not use the service if you reject these rules.
2. The service
Ichhar may provide a directory, business listings, classified ads, reviews, sourced news, weather information, prayer times and contact tools. Some features or platforms may not be available at the same time.
Ichhar helps people find information and contact each other, but it is not a party to sales, bookings, recruitment, services or other transactions agreed directly between users and businesses.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep credentials confidential and promptly report unauthorised access.
- Do not impersonate a person or business or create accounts to bypass a suspension.
- You are responsible for activity through your account until compromise is reported, subject to applicable law.
- Social sign-in is also governed by the relevant provider's rules.
4. Business listings and claims
A listing may be published by a business, a user, Ichhar, or an authorised public or third-party source. Its presence is not an endorsement or certification by Ichhar.
A legitimate representative may ask to claim, correct or complete a listing. Ichhar may request proportionate proof of the relationship and may reject unsupported or fraudulent requests.
5. User content and licence
You retain ownership of text, photos, video, audio, ads, reviews and other content you publish. You warrant that you have the rights and permissions needed for the people, brands, places and personal data shown.
You grant Ichhar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to hosting, reproducing, formatting, translating, moderating, distributing and promoting the content as part of the service and related listing. It ends when the content is deleted, subject to technical delays, backups, earlier sharing and legal duties.
Reviews must reflect a genuine, relevant experience. Sponsored content or commercial relationships must be identified where the law requires it.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
- Illegal, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit content or exploitation of a child.
- Harassment, threats, impersonation, disclosure of private data or use of another person's image without rights.
- Infringement of copyright, trademarks, trade secrets or other rights.
- Spam, fake reviews, rating manipulation, non-existent offers, pyramid schemes or unauthorised solicitation.
- Malware, unauthorised access, bypassing protections, disruption, automated scraping or bulk extraction without written permission.
- Use for regulated or dangerous activities without the required permits, warnings and compliance.
7. Reporting and moderation
Ichhar may review, limit, reject, correct, remove or preserve as evidence content that violates these Terms, the law, third-party rights or service safety. We may warn, suspend or close an account depending on severity and repetition.
We do not promise to pre-screen every post. Report a listing or content through available tools or by email with the URL, reason and useful evidence. An appeal may be reviewed without preventing urgent protective measures.
8. Contacts, transactions and third parties
Verify identity, quality, permissions, price and terms before a transaction. Do not send money solely because of a listing or message. Ichhar does not hold funds, guarantee performance or replace claims against the seller or provider.
Links, phone numbers, maps, messaging, news sources, social sign-in and other third-party services have their own terms. Ichhar does not control all of their availability or practices.
9. Weather, prayer, news and practical information
Weather forecasts and alerts are indicative and do not replace instructions from authorities or emergency services. Prayer times are calculated from technical parameters and should be checked with the local authority or mosque if in doubt.
News remains attributed to its sources. Directory details, hours, routes, prices and contacts may change; confirm them with the business before travelling or making an important decision.
10. Ichhar intellectual property
The brand, interface, software, structured databases, graphics and Ichhar-created content are protected. Unless permitted by law or in writing, you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, republish in bulk or exploit them outside normal service use. Third-party marks and content remain their owners' property.
11. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absence of errors or indefinite retention of a feature. Maintenance, security, networks, providers or force majeure may interrupt Ichhar. We may change, add or remove a feature, with appropriate notice where users are materially affected.
12. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ichhar is provided “as is” and does not warrant all user or third-party content, or the outcome of a connection. You remain responsible for checks and decisions.
Ichhar is responsible for direct loss attributable to it under applicable law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for gross fault, fraud, personal injury or mandatory consumer rights.
13. Suspension, deactivation and account closure
You may stop using the service and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Simple deactivation blocks access but does not automatically erase data.
Ichhar may suspend or close an account for violations, risk, fraud, legal requests or prolonged inactivity, with notice where circumstances allow. Terms that must survive, including third-party rights, evidence, liability and governing law, remain effective.
14. Personal data
The Privacy Policy explains processed data, permissions, providers, retention, rights and the deletion procedure. It forms part of the information provided when using Ichhar.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, technical or functional changes. The date will be updated and suitable notice given for material changes. If you disagree, stop using Ichhar and request account closure. Changes do not retroactively reduce mandatory accrued rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Mauritanian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that may apply where they live. Before proceedings, the parties will seek an amicable solution through the contact channel. If unresolved, competent courts are determined under the applicable rules in Mauritania.
